Refrigeration and air conditioning network now in India, too
- NürnbergMesse is new event promoter of ACREX INDIA 2011
- Parallel to fensterbau/frontale India exhibition
The NürnbergMesse Group takes over worldwide marketing communications and organization for ACREX INDIA 2011 with immediate effect. The exhibition takes place in the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi from 24–26February 2011. The refrigeration exhibition is organized by the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE). ACREX is India’s largest international exhibition for air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, ventilation and building technologies.
“ACREX INDIA is ideally suited to our portfolio. We are well networked in the sector with Chillventa and Chillventa Rossija, so we can contribute to the success of this highly specialized exhibition,” says a delighted Meike Krüger, Project Manager of ACREX at the NürnbergMesse Group. The exhibition organizers in Nürnberg excel with their decades of experience and extensive portfolio of exhibitions and events on refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps. They have created a successful family of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps events with Chillventa in Nürnberg, the European Heat Pump Summit, Chillventa Rossija in Moscow and last but not least the Supermarket Symposium.
The contract with ISHRAE for ACREX INDIA enables the Nürnberg company to move into refrigeration and air conditioning in one of the most important international growth markets. For local organization and handling, NürnbergMesse has enlisted the services of a professional partner, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce IGCC. “The contract to take over international marketing communications for ACREX brings us another step closer to our goal of organizing exhibitions corresponding to our themes in Nürnberg in all major economic regions of the world. India and especially ACREX play a key role here,” says Thomas Schlitt, Director International Business Development, NürnbergMesse Group.
The Indian building industry alone has been growing by ten to twelve per cent a year since 2005. Large investments are planned in housing, industry and infrastructure in the coming years. Not least due to the climatic conditions and rising incomes, refrigeration and air conditioning are becoming increasingly important – in public institutions, office buildings or private households.
ACREX INDIA and fensterbau/frontale India parallel
fensterbau/frontale India takes place in the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi at the same time as ACREX INDIA in February 2011. This gives exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to obtain extra information on cross-sector issues concerning the two sectors. Whereas fensterbau/frontale India is aimed at representatives from the window and facade construction industry, ACREX INDIA covers the whole spectrum of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, ranging from air conditioning systems, refrigeration equipment, temperature control and ventilation to building technologies and services. The diverse sectors covered by the exhibition include banks and financial service providers, hospitals, automobile and rail industries, public administration, science, hotel and catering industry, warehouses and production facilities, and food processing.Next year’s extensive supporting programme again includes the Technical Workshops on topical issues. In order to reach all possible regions in India, the venue of ACREX INDIA alternates annually between Mumbai and New Delhi. ACREX INDIA takes place for the twelfth time in 2011.
