Current safety instructions for Covid-19

Status: 28.2.2020
Entrance
Due to the new situation regarding the spread of the corona virus, NürnbergMesse has decided to postpone several exhibitions to new dates to be determined this year.

Here you will find an overview of our trade fairs.

The aim of every exhibition must be to create a special experience for exhibitors and visitors alike and to enable the diverse establishment and expansion of business relations. Unfortunately, this goal can not be achieved under the current circumstances.

We hope you understand the decision we made.

Medical care in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg

NürnbergMesse is in constant and close contact with the health authorities, and implements recommendations and instructions from the authorities. Regardless of the current situation, a very high standard of direct medical care exists in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg:

- NürnbergMesse has a well-established and proven emergency management system at its disposal at all times.
- At events, our Security Control Unit (SCU) accommodates the police and fire brigade, the German Red Cross as well as the security and public order services.
- For medical emergencies, several treatment rooms as well as equipment for emergency care are available. Interpreters also provide on-site support for communication problems.
- For large trade fairs, several doctors and paramedics are available who are trained in dealing with infectious diseases.
- As a rule, a safety meeting with all safety organisations and safety authorities is held on all days of the event shortly before the start of the event.

As a precaution, the cleaning measures at the exhibition centre for heavily frequented areas such as entrances, door handles, escalators, etc. have also been increased compared with the already high standard. Furthermore, additional disinfectant dispensers were positioned on the premises. Employees of the rescue services are visibly on the move in the halls and are available to customers and visitors with advice and assistance in addition to the hostesses, security and service personnel deployed.
