People visit family at Christmas. An idea that NürnbergMesse China (NMC) also took to heart, traveling to Nuremberg to celebrate their outfit’s tenth anniversary. Thirty colleagues from Shanghai were welcomed to the exhibition grounds by Dr Roland Fleck and Peter Ottmann, CEOs of the NürnbergMesse Group. Then they toured the site and talked with project teams for the international product families (BIOFACH, BrauBeviale, EUROGUSS, GaLaBau, and POWTECH) as well as their colleagues in Marketing and Personnel.
NürnbergMesse’s home city put on its Christmas best for our Chinese colleagues at the world famous Christkindlesmarkt. Mayor Christian Vogel welcomed the visitors to the historic Town Hall and surprised them with a visit from the Nuremberg “Christ Child.” The NMC employees learned more about the city’s history during a tour of town and a visit to the Documentation Centre at the Nazi Party Rally Grounds. The BMW Museum and BMW World were destinations for a brief excursion to Munich. The trip to Nuremberg climaxed at the NürnbergMesse Christmas party, held at the Ofenwerk, where the guests expressed their thanks by singing a Chinese translation of the Christmas carol “Silent Night”.
