Successful events for growing beauty and personal care industry worldwide
NürnbergMesse is expanding its international event range for the cosmetic, toiletry and fragrance (CT&F) production industry and the home and personal care ingredients markets. “With FCE Cosmetique we already host a very successful trade fair in Brazil focusing on the demands of the entire value chain of the cosmetic industry. From a handshake to world-leading fair in 25 years
Every two years in spring the Who-is-who of the international paints and coatings industry comes together at the European Coatings SHOW in Nuremberg. It is the first product of a long and successful partnership which can now look back on 25 years. Since 1991, in close cooperation, Vincentz Network and NürnbergMesse have developed this event into a world-leading fair for the industry. It has now become a cluster of international coatings events, with trade fairs in North America and India. “The 25-year partnership with Vincentz Network shows how successfully publishing houses and trade fair companies can work together – for mutual benefit”, said the NürnbergMesse CEOs, Dr. Roland Fleck and Peter Ottmann, commenting on the significance of this close cooperation.

NürnbergMesse launching Beviale Moscow in 2015
In staging Beviale Moscow, NürnbergMesse is expanding its international portfolio of events in the beverage technology sector and strengthening its presence in the BRIC countries. The new offshoot of BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, the world’s most important trade fair for investment goods in the beverages industry this year, will be held for the first time in October 2015 in Moscow. In the view of NürnbergMesse Group CEOs, Dr. Roland Fleck and Peter Ottmann, the expansion on the Russian trade fair market is an important step despite the current political situation: “As one of the BRIC countries, Russia continues to be an interesting market opening up growth opportunities for us in the medium and long term.”

ACREX India 2015 closes successfully in Bangalore
The three-day ACREX India 2015 trade fair has come to a successful conclusion. According to event host ISHRAE, it attracted more than 28,000 trade visitors and over 400 exhibitors from about 25 different countries, featuring key players from Europe, Asia, North America and the Middle East. The show is jointly organised by NürnbergMesse India and the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE).
Brazil doubling in significance
Something is happening in the South American trade fair market: NürnbergMesse Brasil is continuing to globally expand the Group’s existing field of expertise from fensterbau/frontale and extending the leading sector fair “Glass South America” to include this segment. In addition, NürnbergMesse Brasil and Landesmesse Stuttgart will in future be staging “R+T South America”, which for the first time is being held from June 2016 in Sao Paulo parallel to the successful “Glass South America”. For Dr. Roland Fleck and Peter Ottmann, CEOs of the NürnbergMesse Group, this decision is only consistent: “‘Glass South America’ is the largest trade fair for its sector in the whole of Central and Southern America and will be held for the 12th time next year – it is firmly established in the market and extremely successful. Our expertise gained from ‘fensterbau/frontale’ will further enhance the event’s content. For us this is the next important step. In addition, we are becoming actively involved in ‘R+T South America’ and, together with our subsidiary in Brazil, are playing a valuable part.”
NürnbergMesse a Winner from Reunification
If 9 November 1989 was a historic turning point for Germany, for NürnbergMesse it has turned out to be the lift-off date for soaring growth. Key figures for exhibitions and finances have climbed steadily over the past 25 years: the figures for exhibitors and net occupied space have roughly trebled, attendance has grown 34 per cent, and corporate revenues have skyrocketed by a factor of 15. Today, Nuremberg is an international business hub – and NürnbergMesse is a central focus here. More than 29,000 exhibitors and 1.3 million visitors attended 151 NürnbergMesse Group events in Germany and other countries in 2014. The current financial year has seen the highest figures in company history for exhibitors from outside Germany, visitors, and leased exhibition space. For NürnbergMesse Group CEOs Dr. Roland Fleck and Peter Ottmann, the conclusion is perfectly clear: ‘2014 was one of the best financial years in our company’s history. We have never been as international as we are today.’ All in all, NürnbergMesse expects roughly EUR 230 million in revenue – and it should be recalled that compared to the 2012 record (EUR 236 million), the current figure does not include the biennial FachPack fair, which was not held this year.
