NürnbergMesse is among the 15 largest trade fair companies worldwide – and provides sustainable impetus for the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region and the entire Free State of Bavaria.

According to an ifo study (December 2020), NürnbergMesse generates a total purchasing power of €1.93 billion. Of this, €1.11 billion is attributable to the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region. NürnbergMesse thus makes a significant contribution to the region's economic strength and ensures sustainable revenue in numerous sectors.
As an economic driver, NürnbergMesse creates around 15,000 jobs, according to the study.
Of these, approximately 10,000 jobs are located in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region.
The trade fair's economic impact therefore extends far beyond the exhibition grounds and secures employment in the region for the long term.
In addition to generating purchasing power and employment, NürnbergMesse also makes a substantial contribution to public tax revenue.
According to an ifo study, NürnbergMesse's activities generate €360 million in tax revenue.
