The embedded community meets in Nuremberg

In its 16th year, embedded world once again impressively demonstrates that it is rightly the leading trade fair for the international embedded community. It is growing again in 2018: 1021 (+1%) companies from all over the world showed the 32,217 (+7.3%) embedded experts from 78 countries in six halls where the journey in the Internet of Things and the increasingly digitalized world is going. But it was not only in the halls that the latest developments were in focus: the embedded world Conference and the electronic displays Conference also registered record participation with 2,176 participants and speakers from 52 countries. Innovative and visionary products were honoured with the embedded award for the 14th time. Another highlight was the 9th embedded world Student Day with over 1,000 students from all over Europe. This year, Dr. Christoph Kucklick, Editor-in-Chief of GEO magazine, gave an inspiring and entertaining lecture on the joy and danger of being an engineer.
