NürnbergMesse and Messe Berlin have entered into a strategic partnership for the Indian market: for the first time, BIOFACH INDIA and FRUIT LOGISTICA Connect India will be co-located from May 25 to 27, 2028, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. While each event will retain its distinct identity, positioning and market focus, the collaboration will create additional business opportunities for India’s fresh produce and organic food industries. “By bringing together two leading exhibition brands, we are combining international networks and industry expertise to create a central meeting point for the food industry in Asia,” said Petra Wolf, Senior Vice President Product Management, NürnbergMesse Group.
The co-location of BIOFACH INDIA and FRUIT LOGISTICA Connect India will provide exhibitors and buyers with access to complementary business communities and an expanded international network. With the launch of the co-located events, a new meeting point for two closely connected industries will be established in one of Asia’s most dynamic markets, creating new opportunities for exchange and collaboration across the entire value chain.
As part of the global BIOFACH exhibition network, BIOFACH INDIA has established itself as the country’s leading trade fair for the organic industry. With FRUIT LOGISTICA Connect India, Messe Berlin is bringing its globally recognized brand for the international fresh produce trade to India through a dedicated exhibition format for the first time.
Growth Potential Through Shared Strengths
The partnership reflects the growing synergies between the fresh produce and organic food sectors. In particular, topics such as sustainable production, international trade, supply chains, logistics, innovation, technology and retail are becoming increasingly important for both industries.
