VECTED at Enforce Tac: Precision in Step with the Trade Fair

Customer Stories – where connections shape the future: Trade shows are more than just places where products are displayed. They are moments of connection. Here, conversations take shape that spark new ideas, partnerships that grow, and perspectives that endure. In the “Customer Stories” series, exhibitors explain why NürnbergMesse is exactly that kind of place for them – each trade fair with its own focus, each story with its own perspective.

When Ralph Wilhelm talks about Enforce Tac – Germany’s leading trade fair for security and defense – it sounds less like everyday trade fair routine and more like a precisely timed operation. “Apart from going to the restroom, I don’t leave the booth,” he says with a smile. Appointments scheduled every half hour, distributors from around the world, conversations with special units and procurement officers – three days that are economically decisive for him.

Wilhelm has been a Marketing and Sales Specialist at VECTED GmbH since 2022, but he has known the event for much longer. He was already present at the predecessor format of today’s Enforce Tac. From day one, the trade fair impressed him as “a very tightly curated professional event with restricted access.” No walk in traffic, no public days – instead, a calm, highly professional working atmosphere. “For me, it is still the best trade fair to exhibit at in terms of the audience.”

For VECTED, Enforce Tac brings together development, market launch, and international visibility.

A stage for visibility

Based in Fürth, VECTED GmbH develops and manufactures thermal imaging technology for security and defense applications. For a long time, the company primarily operated as an OEM manufacturer. Only in recent years has VECTED increasingly begun marketing its own products under its own brand – with Enforce Tac serving as a central stage.

“This is the trade fair we work toward,” says Wilhelm. In development, there is a clear countdown to the opening day, with new products intentionally unveiled for the first time at Enforce Tac. For the company, the event is far more than a sales format: it marks the highlight of the year.

High density business

From an economic perspective, Enforce Tac is a highly concentrated platform for VECTED. “The number of conversations I have here in three days is incredible,” Wilhelm says.

The international orientation is a decisive factor. Distributors, government representatives, and procurement officers from different countries meet within a very short period of time – the trade fair brings together precisely the contacts that are strategically relevant to the company.

Wilhelm also views the development of Enforce Tac positively. Originally more focused on law enforcement, the trade fair has strategically broadened its scope and thematic spectrum. For him, this selective growth is the right approach: not growth at any cost, but development aligned with the real needs of exhibitors and professional visitors.

Partnership on equal footing

A key element for Wilhelm is the collaboration with NürnbergMesse. “Customer oriented” is the word that comes to mind first. Short distances, dedicated contacts, and reliable processes characterize the cooperation. “I’m dealing with real people as contacts here, not just an email where I have to start from scratch every time.” He also experiences a willingness to engage in dialogue at management level. Despite the high workload, the team remains approachable and solution oriented – true to the motto: “Let’s see what’s possible.”

More than a trade fair date

For Wilhelm, Enforce Tac is more than just an exhibition venue – it is a concentrated working environment where efficiency and partnership go hand in hand. That he could even imagine an additional trade fair day in the future is, for him, a sign of success in itself: “If I had another day, I could easily fill it.”
